BIRMINGHAM, Alabama – Tennessee's Bristol Development Group has purchased 4.6 acres on Clairmont Avenue across from Highland Park Golf Course for $4.35 million with plans to develop 246 apartments.

An official with Franklin, Tenn.-based Bristol confirmed the purchase and the number of units planned.

Franklin's Pocket Neighborhoods Filling Up Fast

Realtor Danny Anderson has a convincing answer when clients ask whether buying a home in one of Williamson County’s pocket neighborhoods is a good investment. He tells them he purchased one himself.

“I love it. We moved in in November,” Anderson said of his home in Berry Circle, a neighborhood of four new homes in Franklin’s historic district.

Wade Park provides new design and contstruction updates

Work is progressing forward for Wade Park, the massive 175-acre, $1.6 billion, mixed-use destination project that broke ground this summer at the North Dallas Tollway and Lebanon Road – ideally located at the heart of Frisco’s “$5 Billion Mile.”

With site grading in the works and vertical construction beginning in the spring, Atlanta-based developer Thomas Land & Development (TLD) is unveiling new project designs, construction plans and partners.

Additional retail and hotel announcements are expected soon, following Whole Foods Market®, iPic Theaters, and Pinstripes, who signed leases for Wade Park earlier this year.

Work begins on mammoth Ovation development in Cool Springs

An Oct. 22 ceremony will mark the formal start of work creating Ovation, a massive all-in-one development aiming to be urban in the middle of the suburban commercial hub of Cool Springs. Ovation is designed to include just about everything: 1.4 million square feet of top-grade office space, upscale retailers, two hotels, entertainment venues, a grocery store, an array of high-end restaurants and close to 1,000 residences.

BRENTWOOD – As Tapestry at Brentwood Town Center continues to rise, those working on the mixed-use development along Centerview Drive took a break from construction to recognize a milestone.Construction personnel on Wednesday settled into a barbecue lunch provided by project contractor Doster Construction Co. as they celebrated the last beam being installed in a “topping out” ceremony in front of the two four-story wood frame buildings.
